Two Pizzas, Two Traditions
The Art of Pizza – Two Ovens, Two Traditions.
Pizza has always been at the heart of Millie's Old World and remains a defining experience at our Italian restaurant in Morristown, NJ. Our signature "dueling ovens" concept celebrates two of Italy's most iconic pizza traditions, each crafted with authenticity and care.
Inspired by childhood visits to the legendary Totonno's in Coney Island, our coal-fired oven reaches temperatures exceeding 650 degrees to create perfectly crisp, flavorful pizzas like our signature Millie's Pie. Alongside it, our imported Neapolitan wood-burning oven, handcrafted by the renowned Ferrara family in Naples, Italy, reaches 800 degrees to produce authentic Neapolitan pizzas, including our classic Margherita, in as little as 90 seconds.
Together, these two ovens offer guests a one-of-a-kind dining experience that honors generations of Italian tradition while celebrating the art of exceptional pizza.

AROUND THE TABLE
GOOD COMPANY. GOOD WORDS.
“Came here with a large group of friends for a holiday dinner and was incredibly impressed. Friendly service, great atmosphere, large selection of brews and cocktails. We ordered the porterhouse for 2 and was genuinely shocked how fantastic it was. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and delicious. Plenty of app and sides to choose from. This spot and a hidden golden nugget on Staten Island. Would absolutely come back here again.”
“I gotta give Milley's a 5 star across-the-board. If food is great, the service is unbelievable. The atmosphere is very good.Good place to get a good meal at a reasonable price.”
“I can’t believe I hadn’t tried Mille’s before, especially since it’s right in the neighborhood! I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We ordered a specialty pizza, and it was fantastic. The meatballs and chicken parm were also good—classic dishes that some places get wrong, but Mille’s absolutely nailed them.
That said, there are a couple of things I’d tweak. The menu is a bit overwhelming with too many options—cutting it in half and focusing on doing a few dishes really well could make a big difference. (But what do i know )Also, they could benefit from hiring an additional bartender. The bar scene was picking up as we were leaving, and quicker service would really enhance the experience.
Overall, Mille’s delivers on flavor and atmosphere, and I’ll definitely be back!”
“I had a surprising experience here. Came once a few years ago and it didn’t blow me away. Came back for Valentines day 2026 Wow, BLEW ME AWAY. Dry aged Ny strip was outstanding, the wood fired pizza phenomenal. Friendliest staff in the world. A great great treat. Thank you”
“It was my first time with a group of seven people. This place was at the same area where I went to Applebee's.🍻🇺🇲🍔🍳 I went inside and the place looked exquisitely fancy. The atmosphere felt very nice btw. 👍They had this side Glass Wall lined up with different kinds of wine 🍷. There was a concession stand where we came in the entrance and from across the room, there was this coal like oven with fire lit up. 🔥 We were there to do volunteer work for the place and stack some pizza boxes on top of each other(big and small). I told them I had experience of folding boxes because I used to work in a pizza place before. (Tony's Brick oven)So I did the most work while the others tried their best.😀👍 After we were done folding boxes, we sat at a table until 12:00 so we can have their two medium Pizza pies for a job well done 👍 and I kid you not, it was delicious. 😋 🍕🍽️ They're coal fired Pizza was baked and made differently. I did want to ask them if they had drinks 🍻 because they had a bar in there with glass 🥂 hanging around but I didn't want to push it even further. After we ate, the waiter told us"do you want to eat the rest of it here or to go"I said "to go"and they put it in individual boxes. 📦 I went to the bathroom and it looks clean as a whistle. With red and black paint too! 🎨😁 Maybe I'll come back here again for The full experience. I might even want to work there too since I'm so good at folding boxes. 😀🙏👍”
“Worth your visit. Food was exceptional. Waiter was very knowledgeable about menu. Suggested alternative according to dietary needs of individuals at table. Presentation was great and food tasted wonderful. I would definitely go again.”
“OMG! Millie's of Staten Island gets 5 flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!
First, if you're a meat eater, you have to try the 42oz. Porterhouse steak for two. It was an absolute delight. Cooked to perfection, it was the star of the service. We paired our steak with sautéed spinach, some scalloped potatoes, and a salad.
Second, the house salad dressing, a blue cheese lover dream, is delicious and needs to be bottled!
Third, the coal and wood fired pizzas are perfect. One with a thin crust, the other with a thicker crust, but they both satisfy and stand out amongst most pizzerias on Staten Island.
Fourth, the marinara sauce is vibrant and fresh, which helps elevate any dish that it is served with.
There's more... the meatballs 🔥, the seafood 🔥, the drinks 🔥, all fresh and delicious. Z
Finally, the service... top of the line. Staff are welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable.
Do yourself a favor and plan a visit to Milkie's of Staten Island. You won't be disappointed!”
“Nice place food I'd AH-MAZING. Service was a little slow but it was busy.”
“Millie’s of Staten Island is fantastic. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and top-notch service. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the staff made the experience even better. Definitely one of the best spots on Staten Island—highly recommend!”
“I started with a salad that included candied walnuts and thick slab of bacon!! What’s not to like? One of the best salads ever, in my opinion. I went next to a meatball sandwich which was good but I feel could have been smaller and a little more flavorful. My sandwich was clearly made for two, I could only eat half, and just barely at that. My wife’s pasta with cream sauce and mushroom was excellent. Would definitely come here again.”
“Aside from vegans and vegetarians, who doesn’t love meatballs?
At their most basic, they consist of ground meat (one or more varieties) rolled into a ball or oblong shape and can be found, with wild variation, around the globe. They are bound together with a little egg, milk, and perhaps breadcrumbs with some herbs and spices added to the mix.
Located on a busy South Street in the heart of Morristown, my partner and I decided on dinner last night at Millie’s Old World Meatballs and Pizza, named after the owners’ grandmother, before the Mayo show. The location was ideal just a block away. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable.
Upon arrival as first-timers, we were greeted by the staff and got a table inside the main dining room evoking modern Italy with an open kitchen, brick walls, chic red and black accents, and ambient electro music. Weather permitting, their loft-style garage door opens to the sidewalk for outdoors dining.
Their menu features their specialties … meatballs with both coal-fired and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas as well as other traditional Italian recipes, which are fairly extensive.
We decided on the Fettuccine Tartufo and a small Coal Fired Millie’s Meatball Parmesan Pie. The food took some time, but we knew they were made with the finest ingredients and were absolutely delicious. The pizza was made from scratch, loaded with decent meatball slices, and had the right consistency where the crust was crispy and not burnt. Each dish on every table looked fantastic. We saved some room for dessert and shared their homemade Tres Leches cake. It was light, moist, and just the right level of sweetness.
A little pricey across the board, but one can tell everything was made fresh. Our server was very pleasant.
A perfect ending to an outstanding dinner, and our bellies approved. Definitely worth coming back for more than just meatballs and pizzas.”
“Had such a lovely and unexpected dinner at Millie’s Old World in Morristown the other night. We ended up there by chance after a friend called while we were over an hour away, and it turned out to be such a great evening! We were able to get a cozy table outside, and the weather was perfect.
Even though Millie’s doesn’t serve alcohol, there’s a liquor store right next door, so we picked up a nice bottle of red wine. The staff had wine glasses and a corkscrew ready for us. It was a thoughtful touch!
I ordered the Meatballs with Ricotta in Vodka Sauce, while my friends had the Meatballs with Fresh Mozzarella in Vodka Sauce sandwich. They loved how they hollowed out the bread and filled it with the meatballs. We also shared a fresh salad, and everything was delicious, served promptly, and beautifully presented.
Even though we arrived close to closing time, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and never made us feel rushed. It was the perfect way to end an unexpected evening. Highly recommend!”
